INSANE Real-Time, Infinite AI Video Generation🎥🎬
Decart AI’s MirageLSD brings real-time AI video, Sapient’s HRM redefines reasoning with 27M params, and Meta & AWS launch a $200K Llama AI boost for U.S. startups.
From real-time, zero-latency AI video streaming to brain-inspired reasoning models and startup-friendly AI initiatives, the world of artificial intelligence is rapidly evolving. Decart AI’s MirageLSD is revolutionizing live video with instant, interactive frame-by-frame generation. Meanwhile, Sapient Intelligence unveils a remarkably compact yet powerful Hierarchical Reasoning Model, pushing the boundaries of general-purpose thinking. And for AI startups, Meta and AWS are teaming up to supercharge innovation through the expanded Llama Startup Program, offering funding, support, and access to open-source LLMs.
Let’s dive into the details of this week’s most game-changing AI developments.
MirageLSD: Instant, Interactive AI Video Streaming Revolution

MirageLSD, unveiled by Decart AI, is the first AI video model to achieve infinite, real-time video generation with virtually zero latency, producing each frame in under 40ms and enabling fully interactive editing and transformation of live video streams. By generating videos frame-by-frame with a novel causal, auto-regressive structure and enhanced by innovations like per-frame denoising (Diffusion Forcing) and history augmentation to prevent error accumulation, MirageLSD ensures consistently high quality no matter the video’s length. System-level optimizations such as custom CUDA mega kernels, architecture-aware pruning, and shortcut distillation deliver a 16× responsiveness boost over prior systems, making live, prompt-driven video manipulation possible for games, creative filmmaking, or teleporting real-world scenes into new universes. The Mirage platform, live on web and soon on mobile, empowers users with real-time, promptable transformations, and will expand with new features—such as facial consistency and voice/object controls—throughout the summer, pointing toward a future of sensory, generative interaction.
OpenReasoning-Nemotron Distilled Reasoning Models

Sapient Intelligence, an AGI research company headquartered in Singapore, has open-sourced its Hierarchical Reasoning Model (HRM), a novel brain-inspired AI architecture with just 27 million parameters that achieves high-level reasoning capabilities using only 1,000 training examples and no pre-training. Unlike large language models that depend on Chain-of-Thought prompting and vast datasets, HRM is structured with two recurrent modules operating at different timescales—a high-level planner for abstract reasoning and a low-level executor for detailed computation—reflecting core principles of hierarchical processing, temporal separation, and recurrent connectivity observed in the human brain. With this compact, data-efficient structure, HRM outperforms much larger models on crucial reasoning benchmarks, achieving significant scores on the ARC-AGI-2 Challenge and near-perfect results on Sudoku-Extreme and Maze-Hard tasks, areas where state-of-the-art models typically fail. Sapient is pursuing pilot applications in healthcare diagnostics, climate forecasting, and robotics, positioning HRM as a practical and scalable alternative to current dominant reasoning architectures and marking a step toward general-purpose AI with strong real-world impact. The HRM source code is available on GitHub.
Meta & AWS Launch Program to Boost Startups Using Llama AI

Meta AI has launched a collaborative program with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support early-stage U.S. startups in building generative AI applications using Meta’s open-source Llama models. As part of the expanded Llama Startup Program, 30 selected startups will receive up to $200,000 in AWS credits, direct mentoring from Meta and AWS engineers, technical support through a dedicated Discord channel, and access to AI experts, enabling them to accelerate innovation across industries such as healthcare, marketing, finance, and sports. Startups eligible for the six-month virtual program must be under ten years old, have raised funding, and demonstrate strong technical capabilities and impactful ideas. This initiative reflects Meta’s commitment to fostering flexible, transparent, and developer-friendly foundation models, aiming to empower founders to transform bold ideas into AI-driven products while promoting open-source AI development. Applications close by August 8, 2025, with selections announced later that month.
